about hieronymus.™

mission.

our goal at hieronymus.™ is to create a safe space, where our loyal wearers can feel inspired to pursue their most authentic self.  this can be a scary process for many, as it requires vulnerability. we get it, so we’ll start first.  that’s the dna you will see here at hieronymus.™, manifested in both the literature we write, and the apparel pieces we create.  we will be authentically us, and we hope that gives you the permission to be authentically you!

this leads us to the purpose for hieronymus.™ to exist.  we believe that through this pursuit of authenticity and community, our wearers will find a deep level of stoke for life, and realize that they are more powerful than they imagined.  we hope that knowledge will give them the strength to pursue their most audacious goals in life with courage, empathy, and yes…stoke!

this is why, while selecting the right hieronymus.™ pieces for yourself, we hope you will:

“pull the piece,

that makes you feel,

the most like,

your authentic self.”

diversity, equity, & inclusion.

being a Black-owned brand, the goal at hieronymus.™ is to inspire, empower, and fuel ALL people; especially people of color.  within the outdoor and action sport subcultures we love and hope to serve (i.e. trail running, snowboard, surf, skate, and more), we have A LOT of work to do, for ALL people to feel comfortable and empowered in these spaces.

we believe relentlessly pursuing goals focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, will add immense value, both for those members whose lives will be positively impacted by these experiences, and for the subcultures themselves.

as these are our goals as a hieronymus.™ community, please interact with your fellow hieronymus wearers with respect, and please know that perspectives including racism, sexism, and homophobia have no home within the hieronymus community.

thank you!

___

history.

originally founded by clark morgan, in the mountains of Colorado, in 2008, hieronymus.™ was highly focused on supporting the lifestyle side of the snowboard/ski subculture.

moving to the snow subculture most directly from southern California, clark saw the opportunity to create highly articulate lifestyle apparel, inspired by the SoCal fashion industry, only with an action sport vibe.

hieronymus.™ had the goal of being “what shredders wear while they’re not shredding.”

___

creative direction & creation process.

the hieronymus.™ creation process begins with writing an original piece of literature, which will then inspire the design for each product line.

the literature will most often also be published/printed on each apparel piece, with the goal of inviting the wearer to bring their story to the conversation.

the apparel pieces themselves are aimed at being crisply and consistently branded with the full line, while simultaneously being one-of-a-kind.  this is most often accomplished by integrating different sub-assemblies into each piece, which are upcycled fabrics and materials from other end-of-life products (many times these are pearl snap shirts).

you’ll know when you’ve found the right one, as it will feel like you; feel like home.  that was our goal from day one, and will continue to be our primary focus.

cheers, and welcome to the family!
