it makes me laugh

to hear names like,

tennis shoes,

or polo shirts,

or baseball caps.

it makes me laugh,

that we as humans need to,

classify,

to categorize,

to name and box.

it makes me laugh,

because so many times,

we don’t think ahead to how,

narrow,

how specific,

how limiting

our labels may be,

tomorrow.
